At Transl8Buds, customer satisfaction is at the heart of what we do. We built our AI translator earbuds to help you connect with the world, and we want you to feel confident when purchasing from us. This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued, what conditions apply, and how you can request one.


1. Our Promise

If you’re not fully satisfied with your Transl8Buds purchase, you may be eligible for a refund or exchange. We designed this policy to be fair, transparent, and easy to understand.


2. Eligibility for Refunds

To qualify for a refund:

  • Your request must be made within 30 days of receiving the product.

  • The earbuds must be in like-new condition with original packaging, manuals, and accessories.

  • You must provide proof of purchase from transl8buds.com (order number or receipt).

Refunds will not be granted for purchases made from unauthorized resellers.


3. Non-Refundable Items

Certain items are not eligible for refunds:

  • Gift cards

  • Downloadable software, apps, or digital add-ons

  • Clearance, final-sale, or promotional items clearly marked as non-refundable

  • Products damaged due to misuse, accidents, or unauthorized modifications


4. How to Request a Refund

The process is simple:

  1. Contact support@transl8buds.com with your order number and reason for the return.

  2. Our team will provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and shipping instructions.

  3. Carefully package the earbuds and send them to the address provided.

  4. Once inspected, we’ll notify you whether your refund has been approved.


5. Refund Timeline

  • Approved refunds are typically processed within 7–10 business days after the returned item is received and inspected.

  • Refunds are issued back to the original payment method used at checkout.

  • Depending on your bank or credit card provider, it may take additional time for the funds to appear.


6. Exchanges

If you received a defective or damaged item, we’re happy to replace it at no extra cost. To request an exchange:

  • Email support@transl8buds.com with photos or videos of the defect.

  • Once approved, we will ship you a replacement unit.

Exchanges are subject to product availability. If the same item is not available, you may choose a refund instead.


7. Shipping Costs

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product was defective upon arrival or the wrong item was sent.

  • Shipping fees paid at checkout are non-refundable.

  • For international returns, customs duties and import taxes are also non-refundable.


8. Defective or Damaged Products

We take product quality seriously, but if your earbuds arrive defective or stop functioning under normal use within the first 30 days, you are entitled to a free replacement or full refund. Beyond 30 days, warranty coverage applies (see Terms of Use for warranty details).


9. Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled within 24 hours of purchase if they have not yet shipped.

  • Once an order is processed and shipped, cancellation is no longer possible, and the refund process must be followed instead.


10. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage customers to contact us directly at support@transl8buds.com before initiating a chargeback with their bank or credit card provider. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support team.

Unjustified chargebacks may result in refusal of future service.


11. International Returns

If you’re located outside the United States, additional steps may apply:

  • You are responsible for all return shipping and customs fees.

  • We recommend using a tracked shipping method for your return.

  • Refund processing time may be longer due to international logistics.


12. Warranty and Refunds

Refunds are separate from warranty claims. The one-year limited warranty covers manufacturing defects but does not entitle you to a refund after the 30-day return window. Instead, warranty claims are handled through repair or replacement.


13. Consumer Rights

This Refund Policy does not affect your statutory rights under consumer protection laws in your country of residence. Where local laws provide longer return or refund periods, those rights will apply in addition to this policy.


14. Steps to Ensure a Smooth Return

To avoid delays in your refund:

  • Include your Return Authorization Number (RAN) inside the package.

  • Use protective packaging to avoid damage in transit.

  • Ship with a carrier that provides tracking, and keep your receipt until your refund is processed.

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our processes or legal obligations. Any updates will be posted on this page with a new “Effective Date.”
